Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support the TFDM program for the FAA. The role focuses on integrating, validating, and deploying mission-critical capabilities that improve safety and efficiency in the NAS.

Based in Egg Harbor, NJ with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote). Up to 50% travel nationwide to FAA sites for deployments, demonstrations, testing, and acceptance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years with a related Master’s degree.
• Experience integrating and testing large-scale, distributed software systems.
• Ability to obtain FAA SF-85P Public Trust.
• Strong Linux/UNIX administration and scripting for automation.
• Experience with XML messaging, APIs, databases, or messaging middleware.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support deployments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and validate TFDM capabilities in labs and live ops.
• Execute system integration, verification, and validation across NAS interfaces.
• Support formal demonstrations, verification events, and acceptance testing with FAA.
• Collaborate with software, systems engineering, networking, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation tools and AI-assisted solutions to improve testing efficiency.
• Lead deployment activities at FAA facilities and coordinate with FAA personnel.
