Job summary

GE Aerospace offers a Supply Chain Operations Internship designed to expose students to core supply chain activities, from forecasting and planning to logistics and supplier management. The program lays a path toward GE’s OMLP after graduation.

You will learn manufacturing methods, support assembly and repair processes, and apply lean principles in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be enrolled in a full-time program and prepared to work at 35+ U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program.
• Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation; many sites lack public transit.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art manufacturing methods.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for hardware and/or engine assembly.
• Maintain quality via risk assessment, root-cause analysis, and statistical controls.
• Ensure safe work conditions via Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive productivity and on-time delivery.
• Support delivery efforts for sourced components by coordinating with shops and suppliers.
