Job summary

GoJet Airlines is seeking a Technical Engineering Specialist focused on Structures and Interiors to maintain aircraft structural integrity and interior reliability. You will collaborate with maintenance, manufacturers, and regulators to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires knowledge of aircraft structures, interiors, and engineering analysis, with after-hours support during AOG situations and potential AutoCAD usage for drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in mechanical or aeronautical discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in structures and interiors for Part 121 carrier.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• FAA-related license (Airframe & Powerplant) preferred or required if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Professional Standards per GMM1 0-1.2.
• Promotes safety as priority for aircraft and personnel.
• Provide leadership and ensure compliance with FAA, EPA, OSHA guidelines and GoJet procedures.
• Generate engineering documents to specify actions for ADs, SBs, alterations and repairs.
• Provide engineering support to Maintenance Control and line/check maintenance for structural and interiors issues.
• Provide after-hours engineering support during AOG situations.
• Generate FCDs for fleet inspections.
• Review SBs and SLs for applicability to fleet.
• Present engineering proposals to MRB as required.
• Coordinate interior issues with In-Flight, Flight Ops and Ground Ops.
• Develop changes to MX-043s for MRB presentation and IT updates.
• Maintain drawings in Technical Engineering Drawing System.
• Review/write ICA prior to release.
• Other duties as assigned.
