Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a RS Structural Mech III in the Savannah Service Center. The role focuses on sheetmetal structure assembly, riveting, and interpreting mechanical drawings in a multi-shift hangar environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 4 years of related structural assembly experience; Solumina and Smarteam familiarity are preferred, with Q-stamp as a plus. The position is full-time in Savannah, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
• Q-stamp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations.
• Rivet structural members, assemblies and parts using required tools.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence and hole pattern.
• Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
• Instruct and assist team members in interpretation of blueprints and orders; resolve installation difficulties.
