Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a Senior RS Structural Mech IV to join our precision team. You will perform structural assembly on aircraft components, read detailed blueprints, align parts, rivet assemblies, and ensure compliance with FAA paperwork and quality specs.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 years of related experience, with Solumina and SmarTeam familiarity and Q-stamp preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years related structural assembly experience expected.
• Experience with Solumina and SmarTeam preferred; Q-stamp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit detail parts and structures per blueprints and specifications.
• Rivet structural assemblies using portable riveting guns and drills; ensure correct fasteners and tolerances.
• Read work orders, drawings, and operation sheets to sequence operations and plan rivet patterns.
• Mentor and assist teammates; ensure conformance to specifications and FAA paperwork.
• Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIRs, PCOs) and ensure safe, clean work area.
