Job summary

Acron Aviation in St. Petersburg, FL seeks motivated Electrical Engineering interns to join our team for a May–August onsite program, designed to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting and contribute to aviation products.

Interns will work with experienced engineers across analog, digital, power, RF, and embedded systems domains, engaging in requirements analysis, circuit design, testing, and documentation, gaining hands-on experience on real projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Electrical/Computer Engineering degree program.
• Two years of undergrad study completed before internship start.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Work under guidance of experienced electrical engineers and team members.
• Support electrical design, development, testing, and product integration.
• Assist with requirements analysis, specification development, and interface definition.
• Perform circuit analysis, schematic capture, and design documentation.
• Assist with lab testing, troubleshooting and evaluation of designs.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Develop or maintain electrical engineering requirements and design artifacts.
• Write or modify scripts/tools to support analysis or testing.
