Job summary

Jet Midwest is seeking a Site Coordinator to maintain safety standards, collaborate with departments, and represent the company with vendors. This onsite, full-time role is based in Kansas City, MO.

The Site Coordinator will work with operations, programs, sales, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure timely responses to internal and external customers, uphold safety and quality standards, and support facility maintenance and training. Occasional travel or varied duties may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of safety/OSHA preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Takes initiative and is self-motivating.
• Significant ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with all departments -in particular operations, programs, sales, quality and warehouse- to ensure accurate and timely response to internal and external customers and needs.
• Maintain an open line of communication with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the highest level of safety and quality standards in line with industry best practices are employed (people resources, environmental health and safety, methodologies, etc)
• Facility Maintenance and Safety team support as needed
• Work with managers on all training topics
• Perform routine inspections, and reports discrepancies
• Perform spill clean-up as needed
• Analyze and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, determine if there is a need for change and ensure expectations are managed accordingly with customers
• Create, implement, monitor and manage to appropriate KPIs
• Project management support
• Other duties as assigned
