West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL, is seeking a Falcon Sheet Metal Technician to join our on-site team. The role requires basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures, blueprints, and fastening systems, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will perform sheet metal operations, apply sealants, maintain facilities and tools, and use basic computer tools to access manuals and maintenance data. A high school diploma or equivalent and an A&P license are preferred.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling as needed.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
