Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Addison, TX is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician III to work on turbine aircraft structures and airframes. This on-site role involves reading blueprints, interpreting drawings, and performing fastening, sealing, and finishing tasks to support maintenance projects.

You will supervise crew members as needed, organize manpower, and set priorities for tasks while following FAA guidelines and company safety rules. A strong team player with reliable transportation is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license preferred.
• Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and/or passport ideal, but not mandatory.
• Prior sheet metal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling as required.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
