Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Perryville, MO is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join our on-site MRO team. You will perform basic to advanced sheet metal operations, read blueprints, and work from drawings on turbine aircraft structures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; an Airframe and Powerplant license is preferred. Prior sheet metal experience is valued, with strong teamwork, English communication, and the ability to follow FAA guidelines in a fast-paced hangar

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Prior sheet metal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframes.
• Apply and remove sealants, sound deadening, and finish materials.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
• Navigate electronic manuals and maintenance data bases.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
