Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking an Aircraft Security Guard in Georgia to help safeguard aircraft, crew, and cargo in a fast-paced ground handling environment. You will control access, screen people and items, and perform inspections to prevent threats, while adhering to safety policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and US work authorization; ramp and SIDA training is provided to obtain airport credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States as defined by law.
• Ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority ID.
• Must obtain Security Guard Card within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain controlled access of the aircraft entrance.
• Screen individuals and belongings prior to boarding.
• Search aircraft for unauthorized material and/or personnel.
• Transport pilots to and from the aircraft to their destinations.
• Inspect items using x-ray viewing equipment to determine potential threats.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency policies, procedures and regulations; report hazards to management.
• Maintain security of cargo and company equipment.
• Complete paperwork and enter data into the company information system.
