Job summary

The City of Phoenix Aviation Department is seeking a Supervisor I for the Security Badging Office at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. You will lead up to 12 Airport Access Agents, ensure border/PII handling, and enforce TSA/FAA regulations while maintaining customer service standards.

In this role you will train staff, review performance, audit processes, and coordinate with tenants and stakeholders. The position is based in Terminal 3 and requires daily on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a public safety or security setting.
• Knowledge of TSA and FAA regulations and security directives.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and quality control for Airport Access Agents.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the PHX Security Badging Office.
• Respond to inquiries from tenants, public, and stakeholders.
• Manage office supplies and schedules; ensure compliance with TSA regulations.
• Train staff on enforcement of statutes, TSA rules, and procedures.
