Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee Aircraft Operations Area gates, terminal security, and roving patrols. You will align staffing with shift needs, train staff to standard operating procedures, and ensure adherence to TSA requirements.

This role requires leadership, coordination with multiple airport departments, accurate logging, and enforcement of safety policies. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a SIDA badge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of security services or related experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No Class B misdemeanor conviction in the last ten years; clean criminal history.
• Ability to pass TSA security training.
• Must pass a criminal background investigation.
• Must obtain a SIDA badge within thirty days and maintain qualification at renewal.
• Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises security personnel at multiple locations and schedules shifts to ensure proper staffing.
• Trains shift employees to SOPs; ensures procedures are posted and followed.
• Maintains daily logs and enters activity data into systems.
• Reviews reports/incidents and addresses customer complaints; coordinates with other departments.
• Monitors time/attendance and evaluates staff performance.
• Completes daily field checks to ensure proper security operations and equipment function.
• Communicates with Airport departments to resolve issues and maintain security.
• Exerts command responsibility and prepares reports.
