Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet Corp., headquartered near Teterboro, NJ, seeks a Sales Engineer to support its sales force and dealers in direct/indirect sales of the Falcon line. You will perform technical and performance comparisons, research flight manuals, and create customized presentations to help prospects evaluate Falcon against competitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or aerospace engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in aeronautical/aerospace engineering with knowledge of sales/marketing strategies.
• Knowledge in the use of aircraft flight and performance manuals and FARs.
• Knowledge of desktop flight planning or internet-based software programs.
• Ability to analyze and present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Conversational French is a plus.
• Private or commercial pilot ratings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research flight manuals and literature to develop customized product comparisons for sales prospects.
• Use software and flight charts to calculate performance of Falcon and competitors.
• Create customized sales presentations using PC and technical library tools.
• Coordinate with Dassault Aviation and Marketing leadership on new brochures and info.
• Assist RSMs with technical/performance support via MS Teams, phone, or on-site.
• Revise and update competitive database, Falcon Pocket Guide, and FalconEdge to support sales efforts.
• Support major RFPs as required.
• Assist in development of advertising and direct mailings; ensure technical accuracy.
