Job summary

Menzies Aviation Careers is seeking a Safety, Security and Environmental Officer to oversee station-wide safety, security and environmental standards on the tarmac. You will guide policy, conduct inspections, and lead investigations to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

The role focuses on hazard identification, risk mitigation and collaboration with management to implement safe work practices and security procedures in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Legally able to work in Canada.
• High school diploma or equivalently accredited.
• Experience in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field preferred.
• Formal OSHA or similar Safety Certification desired.
• Must have valid full G Driver's License and have a DA; be able to obtain and hold required security clearances.
• PC literate.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, security and environmental oversight within station operations.
• Promote safety culture and ensure adherence to policies and SOPs.
• Conduct monthly health and safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents and direct corrective actions.
• Coordinate with management on policy development and risk mitigation.
