Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Las Vegas is seeking a Safety, Security & Environmental Supervisor to ensure safe, compliant operations on the tarmac and support station-wide safety programs.

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct inspections, investigations, and coordinate with local management to uphold MA policies and federal regulations. This is an on-site role with competitive pay and growth opportunities within a global aviation leader.

Qualifications

• Legally able to work in Canada.
• High school diploma.
• Experience in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field preferred.
• Must have valid full G Driver's License and have a DA; be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances.
• PC literate.

Responsibilities

• Lead by examples at all times and provide open, honest, and direct feedback to our employees.
• Promote Safety, Security and Environmental awareness within the relevant station operation - driving the 'Safety and Security First' culture throughout operations.
• Ensure safety, security and environmental policies are implemented within the station.
• Ensure the relevant Standards and Policies as described in MA Manuals and local legislation are met by Menzies Aviation employees within the station.
• Conduct monthly Health and Safety Inspections and audits; Investigate incidents; review injury/incident trends and direct corrective action.
• Facilitate distribution of safety, security and environmental alerts within operations.
• Implement station ERP and lead Health and Safety Committee.
