Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines, Inc. seeks a Safety Program Administrator to support the Director of Safety in running the SMS under 14 CFR Part 5. The role handles hazard reporting, risk management, data analysis, audits, and recordkeeping while liaising with FAA, customers, and auditors.

The candidate will administer safety programs (ASAP/FOQA/VDRP), coordinate committees, and maintain training and emergency response plans. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aviation safety, aviation management, or related field.
• 3+ years in aviation safety, quality, compliance, or operations.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 5, 117, 121; 49 CFR Part 830; ASAP/FOQA/VDRP programs.
• Strong analytical, writing, and briefing abilities; proficient in MS Office.
• Able to pass a background check, obtain airport badge, and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the SMS manual and hazard register; manage SRM for changes.
• Administer safety reporting system; support investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate ASAP, FOQA, and VDRP programs and related committees.
• Trend safety data; prepare safety performance reports for reviews and audits.
• Coordinate meetings, publish safety communications, and manage training records.
• Maintain Emergency Response Plan and readiness; plan drills and exercises.
• Keep SMS records per 14 CFR 5.97 and manage safety database system.
