Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines is seeking a Safety Auditor to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across facilities, operations, maintenance, and stations in a dynamic aviation environment.

The role involves conducting remote and on-site audits, investigating incidents, maintaining the SMS and ERP manuals, and training staff to foster a proactive safety culture while staying current with industry standards and FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous Maintenance Inspector or Director of Maintenance.
• Previous FAA 119 experience in the role of Director Safety, Chief Inspector.
• Familiar with the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Previous FAA Data Collection Tool experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Good analytical skills.
• Leadership skills with an authoritative approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote and on-site audits of facilities, operations, maintenance, and stations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop prevention strategies.
• Update and maintain the GlobalX SMS and ERP manuals.
• Communicate safety programs, policies, and procedures to management and employees.
• Train employees on safety procedures and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement in safety standards.
• Work in close liaison with Maintenance and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance Systems.
• Other projects as assigned by the Director of Safety.
