The Aviation Resources Management Specialist is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Enlisted position at Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command. It delivers the full range of aviation resource management for assigned aircrew and personnel, and oversees operational administrative aspects.

The role requires interpreting Air Force rules, validating training and medical prerequisites, and coordinating entitlement pay. Telework is eligible and a Secret clearance is required.

AVIATION RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Hiring Agency: Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Enlisted, to provide the full range of aviation management resources for the unit pertaining to assigned rated/ non-rated / career enlisted / non-career enlisted aircrew. Duties: Plans, implements and controls all operational administrative aspects of aviation resource management. Interprets and administer laws and regulations regarding entitlement incentive pay.

Researches, validates, and interprets Air Force Instruction (AFI) Mission Design Series (MDS) specific medical andphysiological requirements and flying and ground training requirements Substantiates personnel listings, determines position status and performs a wide-range of administrative duties.

You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
