Job summary

StandardAero is hiring for a Director of Engineering Repair Process Development to guide the engineering function, shape policies, and direct resources across the business unit. The role focuses on improving repair and overhaul processes while maintaining product quality and advancing technical capabilities.

We seek a leader with extensive experience in production or manufacturing engineering, strong supervisory background, and deep knowledge of gas turbine engines and airworthiness standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in production, manufacturing or process engineering.
• 10+ years of supervisory experience in engineering design, manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic engineering activities and resources for the business unit.
• Develop and implement engineering policies and procedures.
• Coordinate engineering resources to support business objectives.
• Manage project development, staff assignments and technical reviews.
• Provide training programs to increase staff skills and meet technological changes.
• Audit and improve engineering programs for quality and compliance.
• Evaluate production methods to streamline processes and reduce costs.
