Job summary

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. is seeking a data-driven Reliability/Engineering Analyst to maintain safety, reliability and operational performance of aircraft through rigorous data analysis and maintenance program optimization.

You will analyze data, prepare reports, present trends, collaborate with maintenance and engineering, and interface with vendors. Travel up to 10% and work in Indiana; a B.S. in statistics or engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Aviation, Maintenance, or Engineering.
• Minimum two years of statistical reliability or maintenance program experience.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Experience creating and manipulating relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and evaluates data used to measure component, system, and aircraft performance for safety and economic impact.
• Provides technical analysis through evaluation of aircraft maintenance data to optimize tasks.
• Produces and compiles reports to analyze data and report findings and trends to maintenance and engineering management.
• Builds electronic presentations with graphs and vendor data.
• Prepares and presents overview of statistical data and trends as required by AC 120-17A.
• Provides component data to vendors; travels to vendor repair stations for analysis and works with vendors to improve testing and repair methods.
• Coordinates, prepares, and processes projects for root cause investigation of aircraft defects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
