Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an experienced Powerplant Engineer to oversee lifecycle and cost structures for its powerplants and to ensure removals are justified. You will review ADs and SBs, develop modification data, and support maintenance with engineering analysis.

The role requires a~3+ year background in line or heavy maintenance, an A&P license, and capability to interact with multiple departments to optimize fleet health and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in aviation/maintenance with emphasis on powerplant theory.
• 3+ years line or heavy aircraft maintenance experience with knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 121, 145, and 25.
• FAA A&P license required; strong lifecycle, cost management, and engineering data experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet powerplant health and implement solutions to maintain reliability.
• Review and approve powerplant shop visits and work scopes for repairs/overhaul.
• Provide engineering support for line and heavy maintenance including parts substitutions and reports.
• Review Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB) for applicability and develop modifications.
• Minimize costs and aircraft out-of-service time while supporting Cross-functional teams.
