Job summary

Republic Airways in Carmel, IN is offering a Human Resources internship designed to give students real-world experience in airline operations. You will shadow departments, participate in workshops, and contribute to data analysis and process improvements under mentorship.

The internship requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Aviation Management or related field, a minimum 2.5 GPA, and the ability to work onsite up to 40 hours per week with at least 20 hours during spring and fall

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aviation Management, Operational Analysis / Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or similar field of study.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe Safety department meetings.
• Analyze Safety data and identify trends.
• Present findings to senior management.
• Research data to assist in process improvement for interfacing departments.
• Understand company emergency response procedures and assist in improvements.
• Participate in operational risk assessments.
