Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a detail-oriented records clerk to support the Maintenance and Inspections Department in Fairbanks, AK. You will maintain aircraft records, verify data, and prepare daily reports to support maintenance operations.

The role requires MS Office proficiency, strong communication, and adaptability to changing priorities. Regular full-time hours, non-exempt status, and a starting wage of $25/hour are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience in performing administrative support in a business setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate between hangar floor, parts room, Maintenance Control, and Records to track flight time and related data.
• Process component removals and installations from maintenance cards and verify data on yellow tags.
• Audit and update the Aircraft/Engine/Prop logs in Maintenance software and Kardex for AD tracking.
• Audit Airworthiness Directives for accuracy and compliance; attend review meetings as needed.
• Maintain Master list for Engineering Order Database by fleet and aircraft.
• Collect and file vendor/purchasing/order documentation and calibration paperwork.
• Prepare monthly reports (Aircraft/Engine Utilization, Oil, Engineering Order, Calibrated Tool).
• Archive current and past log sheets, inspections, and maintenance paperwork.
• Manage aircraft, engine, and prop logbooks and keep them up to date.
• Maintain the printer/copier area and assist other departments with information.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform additional duties as required.
