Job summary

Modern Aviation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Ground Handler to deliver exceptional customer service on the ramp and inside the terminal. You will greet passengers and crews, assist with baggage, directing vehicles, and coordinating with the Charter Manager to meet service requests.

You will help with fueling, catering, trash removal, and post-flight cleanup while ensuring safety, compliance, and timely departures in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in aviation/business is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 6 points and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and flight crews on the ramp and direct them to the terminal or pick-up area.
• Position rental vehicles and assist with baggage handling as needed.
• Escort vehicles on/off the airfield and assist with service needs for flight crews.
• Assist with fuel, lavatory, water services and post-flight cleanup when requested.
• Support catering, coffee, ice, and newspapers during departure prep and ensure orders are completed.
