Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is looking for a Ramp Agent to support safe ground operations at our airport in Richmond, VA. You will help load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail, and assist aircraft movement in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll operate tugs, belt loaders, and pushbacks, read load sheets and labels, and ensure compliance with safety and airline standards. The role requires 18+ years, US work eligibility, a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and flexibility to

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to access and interpret information using electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices).
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft in a physically demanding environment.
• Operate ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and pushbacks to support aircraft movement.
• Guide aircraft to and from gates, ensuring safe ground movement through marshalling.
• Read and interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels for proper placement.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and airline regulations in a fast-paced, team setting.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
