Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services Inc. is hiring a Ramp Agent in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail, and guiding aircraft to and from gates.

You will ensure safe ground handling in compliance with safety standards and airline guidelines, while supporting various ground operations in a fast-paced team setting. The position requires lifting up to 70 pounds, ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Access to and ability to use electronic devices (iPads/tablets, computers, mobile devices).
• Must pass background check and drug screen; able to obtain required credentials.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft.
• Operate ground service equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts).
• Read and interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates and ensuring safe ground movement.
• Follow safety protocols and airline regulations; work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities; maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues.
