Job summary

AES in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Ramp Agent to support Boeing Dreamlifter operations. You will guide aircraft, move cargo, and operate ground support equipment with precision to ensure safe, on-time departures and arrivals.

You'll work as part of a team to maintain safety, follow procedures, and keep records up to date. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to excellent airport services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent with 2-4 years related work experience.
• Previous ramp experience is a plus.
• Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, hot/cold, noisy, and dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, load, unload, and transport air cargo from aircraft to facilities with strict safety.
• Guide aircraft to and from gate positions with accuracy to maintain on-time operations.
• Provide specialized handling of cargo as directed by lead or management.
• Deliver air cargo to designated recipients following procedures and documentation.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, loaders, baggage tugs.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove hazards to keep a safe workspace.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Comply with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
