Job summary

Alvest Equipment Services (AES) seeks a Ramp Agent in Wichita, KS to support Boeing Dreamlifter operations, guiding aircraft, loading and unloading cargo, and operating ground support equipment with precision and safety.

You will maintain records, coordinate with team, and ensure on-time departures and arrivals by adhering to all safety, security, and operational procedures, lifting up to 70 lbs and communicating clearly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years related work experience preferred.
• Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure with on-time departures and arrivals.
• Able to work in hot/cold and noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, load, unload and transport air cargo from aircraft to facilities.
• Guide aircraft to and from gate positions with accuracy.
• Handle cargo as directed by lead and management following specific instructions.
• Deliver air cargo to designated recipients with proper documentation.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, loaders, tugs and dollies.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove hazards.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervision promptly.
• Follow all federal, state, municipal, airport and carrier security requirements.
