Job summary

AES, based in North Charleston, SC, seeks a Global Operations Manager to oversee Boeing Dreamlifter operations worldwide. You will design and deliver training on cargo handling, load planning, and specialized ground support, ensuring regulatory and safety standards are met.

The role requires 10+ years in aviation operations or training, with cargo and heavy-aircraft experience, and the ability to lead diverse teams globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years in aviation operations, operational training, cargo handling, or oversized cargo environments.
• Military or commercial Loadmaster experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with heavy cargo aircraft operations (e.g., C-130, C-17) highly desirable.
• Experience with load planning, widebody cargo operations, and aircraft loading coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver operational training programs related to cargo handling, load planning, aircraft loading coordination, and specialized cargo operations.
• Support development and qualification of operational personnel across multiple domestic and international locations.
• Design and maintain operational procedures, training materials, and standardized work instructions for Dreamlifter Operations.
• Conduct on-site training, assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure readiness and consistency.
• Partner with leadership to identify training gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure programs align with Boeing, Air Carrier, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support readiness through hands-on instruction and reporting.
