Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in Charleston, SC is seeking ramp agents to marshal aircraft, load and unload baggage, assist with de-icing, and perform related ramp duties. You will operate ground support equipment and support cabin service tasks as needed.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. This full-time role offers weekly pay, eligibility for flight privileges after 30 days, and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Marshall all arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May be assigned cabin service duties like servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabin, restocking supplies, and other items.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
