Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer to join the Aviation Component Service Center (ACSC) Quality Team. You will drive continuous improvement across Combustors & Structures, participating in NPI and MoC facilitation, document review, and gate processes for new repair documents and engine manuals.

You will lead audits, data analysis, and Kaizen events to sustain regulatory compliance and process optimization, collaborating with technical teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years quality/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution to cert questions.
• Referee Engine Manual, QCWI and SOP interpretation.
• Facilitate quality event investigation and problem solving initiatives for a portion of the Combustors/Structures business.
• Identify and develop standard work and execute on Kaizens to improve processes.
• Collaborate with technical team to drive sustained process improvement.
• Utilize FLIGHT DECK tools to drive process improvements and make real change.
• Sustainment of regulatory compliance through audits and targeted surveillance.
• Lead data mining and analysis for quality reviews and risk reduction.
• Prepare content for strategic quality reviews/dialogues (WOR, MOR, etc.)
