GE Aerospace in Rutland, VT seeks a Business Quality Leader to head a team of quality engineers ensuring QA/QC for aviation hardware. You will coordinate with engineering, programs, and customers, driving continuous improvement and robust corrective actions.

Role requires strong machining, manufacturing, inspection knowledge; lead cross-functional efforts and mentor staff. Shift flexibility and extensive quality experience are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university plus 5+ years QA/Quality Management experience.
• Proficiency in APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
• Formal problem solving methods such as APPS, Kata, 8D.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-precision industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 or equivalent quality standards.

Aufgaben

• Own QA and QC across products, services, manufacturing processes; coverage includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods, product inspection, witness points.
• Lead a small/medium team of quality professionals; influence strategy and resource allocation.
• Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products and processes.
• Mentor colleagues in quality processes and lead cross-functional projects with moderate risk.
• Develop relationships with key customers and ensure on-time delivery of quality products.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, QA
