Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Quality Line Side (QLS) role in the Kinston, NC area. You will perform line-side inspections on aerostructure assemblies, verify conformity to aerospace requirements, and support non-conformance management to protect product integrity.

You will work in a production environment, applying MES/SAP data, QA processes, and FOD prevention practices to ensure traceability and safety across the A350 program components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with line-side inspections in a production environment.
• Experience with non-conformance management systems.
• Experience using MES, SAP, or equivalent manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QLS inspections of aircraft structures and paint inspections per client specifications.
• Identify and manage non-conformities, create and process NCRs, and support concessions.
• Maintain quality data in MES/SAP and support corrective/preventive actions.
• Verify FOD removal and ensure compliance with QMS and client processes.
