The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy, and mentoring junior staff, with no heavy lifting and a stable schedule. FAA A&P preferred; 3+ years of maintenance or 18+ months in quality/inspection; strong data review skills.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license strongly preferred or documented inspection/quality qualifications
• 3+ years of hands-on aviation maintenance experience or 18+ months in aviation quality/inspection
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, and OEM data
• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening
• U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, maintenance records, and technical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at dedicated stations using precision tools
• Perform inspections per FAA/EASA standards and issue Return-to-Service approvals
• Document findings and segregate non-conformances
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
