Job summary

Harter Aerospace is seeking an experienced aviation professional to join our Quality team in Tempe, AZ. This indoor, climate-controlled role focuses on documentation review, compliance verification, and final approvals rather than heavy manual labor.

Primarily desk-based with light inspections, you will review work orders, verify data, and issue Return-to-Service approvals while following FAA/EASA regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license or documented experience qualifying for FAA Repairman's Certificate in inspection/quality roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on aviation maintenance or 18+ months in aviation quality/inspection.
• Strong ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, and OEM data.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and technical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at dedicated stations using precision tools.
• Issue Return-to-Service approvals and certifications based on aviation expertise.
