Job summary

FEAM Aero in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Director of Quality to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. The role reports to the Vice President of Safety & Quality and oversees the AS9110 program, audits, and regulatory compliance for CFR Part 145/121 operations.

The Director will manage the Chief Inspector and QA Managers, develop manuals, and drive improvements across inspection standards, records, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in CFR Part 145 repair station or 121 air carrier QA experience.
• FAA A&P license and strong regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with quality management systems and audits.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate with customers.
• Proficient in preparing reports and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with CFRs, standards, and company quality expectations.
• Directly oversee the Chief Inspector and QA Managers.
• Establish and maintain quality objectives and KPI tracking.
• Interface with regulatory bodies and customers on quality issues.
• Represent the station on airworthiness matters with FAA and customers.
• Lead quality audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain records, manuals, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure inspections and data used are current and properly executed.
• Maintain QMS integrity during changes and staff training.
• Other duties assigned by VP of Safety & Quality.
