Job summary

FEAM Aero in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for the repair station. You will oversee inspectors, ensure CFR Part 145 and 121 compliance, and interface with FAA and customers on airworthiness matters.

You will manage risk assessments, drive corrective actions, and mentor a team to maintain AS9110 standards and robust documentation across all repairs and inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of CFR Part 145 repair station or 121 air carrier quality assurance experience.
• Must hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license with experience in Line Maintenance and/or Heavy Check operations.
• Thorough knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 & 121 regulations, FAA & EASA airworthiness certification requirements and other regulatory bodies
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees the Chief Inspector and Quality Assurance Managers.
• Lead the department’s audits and corrective action process with training and leadership.
• Ensure inspections and records are properly executed prior to return to service.
• Ensure regulatory manuals, documentation and SOPs are current and controlled.
• Interface with regulatory bodies and customers on quality issues.
