Job summary

GAL AeroStaff in Miami is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee aviation component maintenance QA programs under FAA and EASA Part 145. This role leads audits, maintains the QMS, and drives continuous improvement across quality processes.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to ensure airworthiness standards are met and regulatory requirements are followed, while guiding QA staff and coordinating corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience specifically as a Quality Assurance Manager required.
• Extensive QA Manager experience within FAA and EASA Part 145 repair station required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
• Strong knowledge of FAA and EASA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the repair station Quality Assurance program and ensure compliance.
• Lead internal audits, quality reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Maintain and improve the quality management system and documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering on quality matters.
• Provide guidance to quality personnel and drive corrective actions.
• Support external audits by FAA, EASA, customers, and third parties.
