Job summary

Berry Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform comprehensive inspections of aircraft, engines, components, and related maintenance tasks in a repair station environment.

The role emphasizes compliance with FAA regulations, approved technical data, and customer requirements. The inspector will identify discrepancies, verify workmanship, maintain inspection documentation, and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Minimum 18 months of aircraft maintenance or quality inspection experience.
• Experience interpreting maintenance manuals and technical data.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft and components.
• Verify compliance with service limits, repair limits, and rejection criteria.
• Document inspection results and ensure traceability to work orders and parts.
• Stop work if materials, processes, or workmanship do not meet requirements and coordinate corrective actions.
• Witness tests when required and ensure test reports are traceable to part numbers and serial numbers.
• Coordinate with Lead Technician and Director of Quality/Chief Inspector on nonconformances.
