Job summary

HQ Aero in Waco, TX is seeking Inspectors to support the Director of Quality in overseeing inspections of articles and inspectors in the Quality Department. The Inspector must stay current on FARs, DFARs, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and internal policies and procedures, along with developing inspection methods and processes with the supervision of the DOQ.

The Chief Inspector must be an appropriately certificated mechanic under FAR Part 65.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft inspection and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with FAA/FAR and related regulatory directives.

Responsibilities

• Use inspection methods, tools, and equipment to assess articles and inspectors.
• Verify calibration status of equipment and maintain calibration records.
• Record inspection results and ensure documentation is complete before service.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and ensure compliance with company policies.
