Job summary

Berry Aviation seeks a Quality Control Inspector (CRO) to inspect aircraft, engines, and components for compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. You will verify workmanship, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are completed in a repair-station environment.

The role requires experience with inspection tools, adherence to technical data, and close collaboration with the Director of Quality/Chief Inspector to maintain safety and airworthiness.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P Certificate or verifiable experience supporting a Repairman Certificate.
• Minimum 18 months of aircraft maintenance and/or quality inspection.
• Recent experience performing quality control inspections.
• Experience interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals and data.
• Experience using inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft and components.
• Verify compliance with service limits, repair limits, and rejection criteria.
• Ensure damage is not repaired without approved data.
• Document inspection results and ensure traceability to work orders.
• Coordinate with quality leadership to address discrepancies and corrective actions.
