Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking a Bombardier Quality Control Inspector to uphold FAA-compliant quality standards, work with Aircraft Technicians and QA teams, and ensure timely sign-offs and closeout of airframe squawks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an A&P license or repairman certificate, and preferably an IA rating. The job is full-time, on-site, with benefits starting at day one and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P License or Repairman Certificate required.
• IA rating recommended.
• Must have valid driver’s license or passport ideal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain West Star Aviation’s quality standards by inspecting technician’s work, performing “ok to close”, and auditing.
• Ensure proper sign-offs in Corridor as part of the inspection process.
• Participate in daily review meetings.
• Assist with Airframe Inspections.
• Coordinate steps with departments to sign off, inspect, and close airframe squawks.
• Help manage Equipment Removal and Installation Log.
• Assist QA with log research to clear items in question.
• Maintain customer oriented work habits and effective English communication.
