Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our Learjet Inc facility in Wichita. The role focuses on inspecting aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and FARs, and verifying that all work is properly documented before shift completion.

Ideal candidates have about 1 year of aircraft maintenance experience, a valid A&P or Repairman certificate, and the ability to read complex maintenance manuals.

Qualifications

• 1 year of aircraft maintenance experience, Bombardier business jet preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals.
• A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate required or appropriately rated.
• Knowledge of SAP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements.
• Perform hidden damage inspections.
• Ensure all paperwork complies with engineering specifications and manuals before end of shift.
• Perform service inspections of aircraft or components per FARs and maintenance manuals.
• Assist other inspectors within area(s) of qualification.
• Perform Preliminary Inspection upon aircraft arrival.
• Inspect maintenance, repairs and alterations for corrective actions.
• Inspect flight control systems maintenance.
• Inspect fuel panels, final installations and electrical panels; approve installation.
• Inspect engine installation and provide Installation OK.
