Job summary

DST LLC in Maryland is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement of aircraft hangar consumables, create purchase orders, track lead times, and support procurement policies. You will review electrical and structural drawings and part specifications to determine purchasing requirements, research to find the lowest cost, and ensure contractual compliance for aviation projects.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and 1 year of inventory control and 1 year of aviation purchasing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year inventory control experience.
• One year aviation purchasing and procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and improve SOPs for Purchasing.
• Track purchasing activities in company databases.
• Create quotes and purchase orders.
• Purchasing and procurement.
• Shipping and receiving, including hazmat compliance.
• Send and respond to emails; perform clerical duties.
• Support after-hours and AOG situations as needed.
