Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Iowa seeks an Aviation Project Manager (P.E.) to lead design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction management for airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, fuel systems, hangars, AD buildings, and NAVAIDS. You will serve as a primary client contact to airport boards and clients.

This leadership role requires a B.S. in civil engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of progressive civil experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field.
• Experience with client relationship management and business development.
• Experience in plan specification development with construction contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction.
• Serve as a client contact to airport boards/commissions and airport clients as assigned.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Perform business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.).
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
• Assist with the training and development of professional and technical staff.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Travel periodically to work sites and other project related locations.
