Accura Engineering in Louisville, KY seeks a Project Manager-Aviation/Airport with 5+ years of project management experience and a background as an Owner’s Representative for landside or facility-related projects. The role focuses on planning, design, procurement, and project delivery, not construction supervision, with duties spanning from scoping to closeout.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering/architecture/construction management degree or related field and excels in client coordination

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience as Owner’s Representative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
• Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
• Participates in procurement selection process.
• Negotiates contracts and change orders as necessary.
• Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction.
• Oversees reviews for all submittals (A-E-C) and ensures compliance with standards.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure compliance with codes and guidelines.
• Administers meetings, reviews submittals, and shop drawings.
• Maintains project reporting and database through closeout.
• Reviews construction schedule for completeness and progress.
• Coordinates with contractors and design team to meet deadlines.
• Identifies environmental hazards and addresses OSHA regulations.
