Job summary

Accura Engineering in Knoxville, TN seeks a Project Manager-Aviation/Airport with 5+ years of PM experience, including ownership as Owner’s Representative, landside or facility projects. Focus on planning, design, procurement and delivery, not construction supervision.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field required. Strong written and verbal communication to coordinate clients, consultants and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in aviation or facilities
• Experience serving as an Owner’s Representative
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients, consultants and contractors

Responsibilities

• Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
• Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
• Negotiates contracts and change orders as necessary.
• Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction.
• Oversees reviews for all submittals and ensures compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure compliance with codes and guidelines.
• Administers meetings and reviews submittals and shop drawings.
• Reports and updates project reporting and database throughout tenant project and closeout.
