Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a Project Manager II – Engineering with aviation experience to pursue and deliver airport projects for clients like PANYNJ and Massport. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, lead a cross-disciplinary team, and guide contract negotiations using HNTB's delivery approaches. Location: New York, NY.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10 years of relevant experience, plus 2 years leading engineering projects. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of successful management of engineering projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience with client liaison and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotation, and technical proposals in line with HNTB methods.
• Lead or participate in client contract scoping and negotiations.
• Manage project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to client satisfaction.
• Provide technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and production for projects.
• Oversee project staffing, recruitment, development, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with clients and pursuit teams to build relationships for future work.
