Job summary

McKnight International is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Aviation with 8+ years of PM experience, including at least 5 years on complex aviation infrastructure or capital projects in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.

The role involves leading projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and asset turnover, coordinating with engineering teams, airport operations, contractors, and stakeholders. On-site 4–5 days/week in the NY/NJ region is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience with complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience in aviation or airport infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to NY/NJ metro area and work on-site 4–5 days/week.
• Proficiency in project controls, budget management, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage aviation infrastructure projects through initiation to closeout.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, milestones, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate with airport operations, engineering, maintenance and procurement teams.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and management presentations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
